About Us
About Us
MRN Homes is dedicated to building exceptional homes that complement the evolving needs of home buyers and the communities in which they live. The customer always comes first, and that's why we aim to provide outstanding service and quality to every person we work with.
Our Philosophy
From excellent interior finishes to tasteful modern design, we’ve built our reputation on the craftsmanship and quality of the homes we design and construct. We strive to provide homeowners with a lasting investment that they are proud to call home.
Our History
CEO and founder Michael Nelson established MRN Homes in 2002, after years of involvement in purchasing, land development and home remodeling in Seattle. He understands the time, the immense effort and the challenges that come with building in the area, and that’s now part of what makes MRN Homes successful. With his extensive industry experience and market knowledge, Michael has established himself as a seasoned, premier builder in Seattle.
MRN Homes has since cultivated a team of highly qualified and dedicated professionals to work with, bringing over 60 years of combined Seattle-area home building experience. Our employees love what we do and work to create a stress-free experience for our buyers. We love the city we build in just as much as you do, and we build homes and communities that will make you love it even more.
Our Commitment to Efficiency
A large part of our commitment to building the highest-quality homes in the area includes committing to the environment around us—that’s why MRN Homes is focused on not only meeting, but exceeding, the standards for energy efficiency. By adopting best-in-class building practices, we are proud to be a Built Green™ certified builder.
Energy-efficient and environmentally-friendly features will come standard in your MRN home, including:
- Low E and ENERGY STAR certified windows
- Programmable thermostat and tankless water heater
- Low Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) finishes
- Native plant landscaping and permeable concrete
- Low flow toilets, faucets and showerheads
Aside from the obvious benefits for homeowners, such as a lower carbon footprint and increased energy savings, you can rest assured knowing that your builder (and you) are helping to conserve natural resources and create a healthier environment for future generations.
